This innovation production consists of two major stages. The first stage is to establish plant stem cell cultures and sub-culturing routine and the second stage is to extract effectively bioactive ingredients from plant cells. To obtain plant cell cultures, two phrases culture system is employed in our project. Embryos are used as explants and sub-cultured every 2 to 3 weeks in solid nutrient medium. Our experiment results indicated that this extraction is bioactive and is capable of promoting human epithelium cell growth. It is promising that this extract can be formulated in many cosmetic products in the near future.
