The Vehicle Close Monitoring Warning System consists of a control unit, a distance infrared sensor, and LED Light Strips. The LED lights on and warning system sounds when vehicles are approaching objects or passengers. The Vehicle Close Monitoring Warning System combines distance sensor and LED light strips to provide drivers better safety driving condition. Owing to high vehicle density in Taiwan, most of the car accidents happen when vehicles are turning or reversing. The Vehicle Close Monitoring Warning System prevents accidents through monitoring system and illumination, especially for the elders, women, and un-experienced drivers. The close monitoring system is low cost with two-stage warning design, based on the close distance relative to the surroundings. The first stage, when the relative distance is within 100 cm, the warning system sounds. While the second stage, when the relative distance is within 60 cm, the warning system sounds and the LED lights on. The Vehicle Close Monitoring Warning System emphasizes on the sideways and the rear sides of the vehicle to provide drivers safer driving condition, especially during nighttime or poor weather.
