The special features of the counterfeit banknote detector device resulted from this invention are that it includes the source of infrared rays that inspects the infrared rays of banknotes; the source of UV rays that inspects the UV rays of banknotes; camera that acquires the video footage of the banknotes in which the sources of infrared rays or UV rays mentioned above have been detected; the magnetic sensor that can read the magnetic pattern of the banknotes; and a display that shows the footage of the banknotes mentioned above and that shows the deciphered result from the magnetic sensor. Through this, by enabling the ordinary people who don't have specialized knowledge to handle the device, it has an effect of being able to distinguish counterfeit banknotes regardless of time and location by carrying around the device if one is aware of simple knowledge about banknotes.
